ALEXANDRA OOMS

Born (1983) and raised in Rotterdam with Dutch, Spanish and Finish roots. Studied Neuropsychology (MSc degree) at Utrecht University and currently studying Photography at Fotoacademie in Amsterdam. After being active in the Psychology field and later as Project Manager for digital agencies, I decided to fully focus on Photography. A passion carried and supported from a young age, fueled by the many travels around the world and led by creativity and curiosity. Throughout my life I’ve been fortunate to have been exposed to different arts and cultures, inspiring me to experiment and grow into what I am today as a photographer. In time it became clear that I had a love for refined and clean aesthetics, which is an important component in my work. As is telling a story that connects and engages with the viewers heart.
